Banquet Supervisor

We have an immediate opening for a motivated Banquet Supervisor to assist in managing the banquet team at our fine resort. This individual would assist the Director of Banquets in ensuring that the highest levels of service are consistently achieved. The position contributes to the overall success of the banquet department by effectively managing the service teams in banquets, including the banquet captains, banquet food servers and banquet set-up staff.

Responsibilities include providing world-class service to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This exceptional manager will possess a passion for food and wine, be directly involved in the day-to-day operation and act as mentor to the staff of the restaurant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Is familiar with all related policies and procedures for the Catamaran Resort Hotel.
  • Conveys a favorable image of the organization by projecting a positive, professional appearance and demeanor to our guests and associates alike.
  • Participates in establishing training programs to ensure consistent world-class service and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Works closely with the Catering Department and other operating departments to guarantee quality of services rendered.
  • Enforces established goals and standards for the Banquet Department.
  • Inspects banquet rooms, buffets and displays for conformance to the needs and desires of the group(s).
  • Ensures the banquet and meeting room facilities are maintained at the highest level of cleanliness in accordance with the Health Department and hotel standards.
