San Diego MEETINGS ON THE WATER
Take your meetings and receptions out on beautiful Mission Bay
Why do something traditional when you can do something unconventional? Host your meeting or reception on one of our classic 19th century-style sternwheelers, the William D. Evans and the Bahia Belle.
Our boats include all the modern amenities, including WiFi Internet, while maintaining the charm of the Victorian Era.
Both sternwheelers have observation decks for guests to enjoy the sites and climate of San Diego during meeting breaks or cruises around the bay.
William D. Evans
Launched in 1986, the William D. Evans will host up to 450 for a reception and 200 in a theater setting. With a 12-ton paddlewheel at her stern, the 100-foot yacht features an exquisite skylight made of 50,000 pieces of stained-glass, hand-carved mahogany doors and walls with etched glass windows.
Built in 1942 and renovated in 1981, the Bahia Belle was initially used to ferry military personnel on San Diego Bay. The 65-foot vessel now graces the water of Mission Bay, accommodating up to 160 guests for receptions and 80 in a theater setting.
