SAN DIEGO, January 13 —
San Diego visitors and residents will again have the opportunity to enjoy a fine dining experience at a significant discount during the 2013 Restaurant Week celebration at the Atoll Restaurant, located in the Catamaran Hotel Resort and Spa on Mission Bay.
Restaurant Week, a popular regional event that takes place twice annually, gives food lovers the opportunity to explore the region’s exciting dining scene by offering specially-priced, three-course prix fixe dinner menus at a fraction of the normal cost.
The Atoll will present a creative prix fixe menu of culinary specialties in celebration of the week at $40 per person.

Sunday-Thursday, January 13-17, 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Friday, January 18, 5:30 pm- 10:00 pm
Diners will have the opportunity to select a first and second course, plus dessert, from the following menu:
First Course
Pacific Oysters
Smoked scallops and rose Champagne granita
Cauliflower Soup
Black truffle salad
Wild Mushroom Crusted Brioche
Fried duck egg and chervil
Short Rib Terrine
House made pickles and stone ground mustard
Second Course
Smoked Black Cod
Roast beets with horseradish and pickled carrots
Paso Prime Grass Fed New York Strip Loin
Spaetzle gratin, fennel and arugula
Herb Crusted Baja Halibut
Preserved tomatoes and house made gnocchi
English Pea Risotto
Pea Tendrils and California extra virgin olive oil
