Drift into Island Time Summer Activities
This summer, enjoy leisurely on-property summer activities as you drift into island time at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa. We look forward to welcoming you for a taste of Hawaii — with traditional luaus, lei making, hula lessons, poolside cocktails, waterfront dining, yoga classes on the bay, outdoor movies, and more. Make it your own with a variety of options for the whole family!

Welcome Refreshments
Start your vacation off with delicious refreshments at the Catamaran. Upon check-in, enjoy a complimentary snack and beverage in the lobby.

Yoga on the Bay
Start your morning with a relaxing open-air yoga session overlooking the calm waters of Mission Bay. Please meet in front of the Fitness Center prior to class. Mats are provided, and the class is complimentary for hotel guests and The Catamaran Spa guests.

Make Your Own Sushi
Try something new with an interactive and delicious sushi class led by one of our talented chefs. The class holds 10 people and is $30 per person. Call Oceana Coastal Kitchen at (858) 539-8635 to reserve your spot.

Hula Lessons
Join us on the south lawn for complimentary hula lessons for hotel guests. Get in the flow and learn the hula dancing techniques and movements set to island music in one of our favorite summer resort activities.

Lei Making
Transport yourself to the islands and make your own fresh flower Lei for yourself or a gift. The activity has a $20 fee and is hosted on the south lawn.

Catch a family-friendly outdoor movie night with a stunning backdrop of Mission Bay for an unforgettable San Diego evening.

Keiki Club
Children of all ages can show off their creative side during their stay at the Catamaran Resort Hotel. Families can head to our bayside lawn for the Keiki Club’s fun and interactive Hawaiian-inspired arts and crafts summer resort activities.

Traditions of Polynesia
Experience the magic of the Polynesian islands with this electrifying show—a sneak peek of our full summer luaus on Thursday nights—featuring rhythmic drums, mesmerizing torch lighting, and vibrant hula dancing set on the shores of Mission Bay.

Perfect for cooling off on those hot summer days, swing by the pool area every Wednesday for a complimentary ice cream treat.
