(San Diego, CA) – The Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa and Bahia Hotel on San Diego’s Mission Bay have announced a lineup of new activities created to inspire guests and the community to make the most of the upcoming Spring Break season. All ages will be able to enjoy San Diego’s ideal climate as festivities take place over the course of more than five weeks from Friday, March 4, through Sunday, April 10. Spring Break activities will include:

Outdoor movies for all ages: Open to guests and the public, the Catamaran invites all to its secluded beach for a complimentary family-friendly film projected onto a 16’x 9’ outdoor screen on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at sunset. Similarly, the Bahia will entertain families with a selection of children’s movies shown by the pool every Wednesday and Saturday at 8 p.m. with complimentary popcorn included.

Poolside eats and entertainment: For those ready to dive into the warmer weather when it arrives, the Catamaran’s pool bar and grill will be open Friday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., with live poolside entertainment offered every Saturday and Sunday afternoon. At the Bahia the pool bar and grill will be open daily, with Spring Break specialty drinks and live poolside entertainment offered each Saturday.

Gaming and crafts: Kids and kids at heart can get in on the gaming action as the Bahia’s and the Catamaran’s video arcades become free for all hotel guests during the Spring Break season. At the Catamaran, the Kei Kei Club (Kid’s Club) will offer complimentary Hawaii-inspired arts and crafts each Saturday at 3 p.m., while guests of the Bahia can sign up for poolside children’s activities including arts and crafts, beach activities and board games every Saturday.

Aboard the Bahia Belle: Guests of the Catamaran and the Bahia can take a complimentary tour of Mission Bay every Wednesday through Sunday aboard the Mississippi-style sternwheeler Bahia Belle, with tickets available to the general public for $10 and $3 for children under twelve. This entertaining vessel provides a dance floor, live music after 9 p.m. and a full-service bar. Families are encouraged to enjoy Family Hour on the Bahia Belle from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
